Kristi Westra - Kindergarten

Mrs. Kristi Westra was born in St. Paul Park, MN.  She spent her first seven years living in Arizona and then her family moved to Washington State.  She graduated from Evergreen Lutheran High School in 1988. 

She graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College in 1992 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. After graduation she was assigned to St. Mark Lutheran in Eau Claire, WI where she taught grades 1-3 for three years. In 1995 she married Pastor Kevin Westra and moved to Michigan. Together they have lived in Michigan, Washington and Ohio.  They now make Hortonville their home where her husband serves as a pastor at Bethlehem. They have three adult children and a daughter-in-law.

While staying home to raise her three children she substitute taught in various classrooms.  She has also served as a kindergarten aide, taught 5th-8th grade reading/social studies, was a preschool director/teacher, and an early learning center director.

In her free time she enjoys hiking, gardening, traveling, and spending time with family. 

Her favorite Bible passage is Isaiah 43:1  Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.
