Crystal Kesting - 3k Preschool Teacher

I graduated in 2003 from MLC with my teaching degree. I have had experience teaching in a variety of settings. Upon graduation I served one year as a 4K teacher. Following that year I taught as a substitute teacher in both public and private schools K-12 in the Green Lake area. I took a break from teaching to raise my family. In 2015 I began substitute teaching in the New London area. In 2018 I began serving at Emanuel in a variety of positions: 6th grade science teacher, Tiger Cub Care Teacher, and most recently as one of the Kindergarten teachers. I have also taught Sunday School, 5th and 6th grade Confirmation class and VBS. I have enjoyed every age I have worked with, but the youngest students have always held a special interest with me. I started serving as the 3K teacher at Neenah Lutheran during the 2022-2023 school year and love it!

I am married to Pastor Peter Kesting, of Zion Lutheran in Readfield, Wisconsin. We have four children. Our youngest attends Emanuel in New London, our middle 2 attend Fox Valley Lutheran, and our oldest is a college student.

In my free time I enjoy outdoor activities like camping, biking, hiking, canoeing and fishing. I also enjoy baking, reading, playing board and card games. Learning and playing guitar, ukulele and piano helps me relax. I love doing all of these things with friends and family.

One of my favorite Bible verses is Romans 8:39, “Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
