Tyler Weinrich - Principal

Mr. Tyler Weinrich was born in Norfolk, NE. He graduated in 2013 from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education with a double major in Elementary Education and Secondary Choral Music.

Before coming to Neenah Lutheran, Mr. Weinrich taught 3rd grade for two years and 7th-8th grade for two years at St. John in Libertyville, IL. Mr. Weinrich’s personal interests include choir, playing soccer, technology, and watching various movies and TV shows.

Mr. Weinrich’s favorite Bible verse is Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God."

Colin Paustian

Colin Paustian - Eighth Grade Teacher / Athletic Director / Technology Director

Mr. Colin Paustian was born in Racine, WI and graduated from Shoreland Lutheran High School in 2011. He graduated in 2016 from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Secondary Chemistry Education. He married Jackie in 2015, and has a two-year-old son, Emmett.

After graduation, Mr. Paustian was assigned to Trinity, Neenah as the 5th-6th grade teacher, middle school science and math teacher, and athletic director.

Mr. Paustian’s personal interests include running, hiking, playing and watching sports, board/card games, and spending time with Jackie and Emmett.

One of Mr. Paustian’s favorite Bible verses is Joshua 1:9. “This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Tyler Tesch

Tyler Tesch - Seventh Grade Teacher

Mr. Tyler Tesch was born in Neenah, WI. He graduated from Fox Valley Lutheran in 2005, and graduated in 2011 from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and an emphasis in Physical Education.

Before coming to Trinity Lutheran School, Mr. Tesch taught 5th and 6th Grade at St. Johns Lutheran School in Manitowoc, WI. Mr. Tesch’s personal interests include the Wisconsin Badgers, playing and watching various sports, being outdoors, and everyday exercise. Mr. Tesch’s favorite sports to play and watch are volleyball, football, and golf!

Mr. Tesch’s favorite Bible passages is John 15:5 which states, “I AM the Vine and You are the Branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, He will bear much fruit. Apart from me, He can do nothing.”

Amanda Weinrich - Fifth Grade Teacher

Mrs. Amanda Weinrich is from Slinger, WI. She graduated in 2013 from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and an emphasis in Communication Arts and Literature. She also graduated in 2018 from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN with a Master's Degree in Education and emphases in Instruction and Special Education.

Before coming to Martin Luther School, Mrs. Weinrich taught 4th-5th grade at Faith Lutheran School in Antioch, IL.

Mrs. Weinrich's personal interests include reading, playing games, and watching movies.

Mrs. Weinrich's favorite Bible passage is Matthew 28:20b, "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Mrs. Karrie Race

Karrie Race - Fourth Grade Teacher

Mrs. Karrie Race was born in Appleton, WI. She attended Fox Valley Lutheran High School and Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN, with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in English.

Mrs. Race taught for 13 years at Grace, Oshkosh, and 10 years at Martin Luther before Neenah Lutheran School. One of her greatest teaching accomplishments is when she received an Outstanding Educator Award in 2002 from Herb Kohl.

Mrs. Race enjoys reading, football, and spending time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Race's favorite Bible passage is Philippians 4:13, "I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.”

Jill McGovern - Third Grade Teacher

Mrs. Jill McGovern grew up in Oshkosh, WI. She graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a minor in English.

After graduating from DMLC, Mrs. McGovern taught 2nd Grade at St. John’s Lutheran School in Westland, MI. She married Mark McGovern and moved to Neenah in 1999. She then became Trinity’s 3rd Grade teacher.

Mrs. McGovern’s personal interests include reading, gardening, and various crafts.

Her favorite Bible verse is Joshua 1:9, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Mrs. Shelley Christian

Shelley Christian - Second Grade Teacher

Mrs. Shelley Christian grew up in Marshfield, Wisconsin. She graduated from UW-Eau Claire in 1990 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. In 1997, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from UW-Oshkosh. In 2017, Mrs. Christian earned her WELS Synod Certification from MLC. Mrs. Christian taught special ed. grades 1-3 at Baldy Mesa Elementary, Phelan, California from 1993-96. Upon returning to Wisconsin she took a break from teaching to stay at home with her growing family. In 2010 Mrs. Christian returned to work, first as an aide and then as a called worker.

Mrs. Christian and her husband, Ben, have 3 children (Elizabeth, Noah and Isaac). She enjoys reading, family time (especially family game night), and scrap-booking.

One of her favorite Bible passages is Ephesians 4:32, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”

Ms. Alyssa Stuebs

Alyssa Stuebs - First Grade Teacher

Alyssa Stuebs was born in Lexington, Kentucky. After she graduated from Fox Valley Lutheran High School in 2011, she went on to Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN. In 2016, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Parish Music.

Before teaching at Neenah Lutheran School, Alyssa taught for three years at Lord and Savior Lutheran School in Crystal Lake, IL, serving as a music and technology coordinator.

In Miss Stuebs’ spare time, she enjoys hiking, running, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Miss Stuebs’ favorite passage is from Zephaniah 3:17 which states, “The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”

Lisa Baehman

Lisa Baehman - Kindergarten Teacher / Music Director

Mrs. Lisa Baehman was born and raised just outside of Ann Arbor, Michigan, attending Salem Lutheran School and Huron Valley Lutheran High School. She graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College in 1989 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Music Concentration. Upon graduation, Mrs. Baehman taught Grades 2 and 3 at Pilgrim Lutheran School in Mesa, Arizona. At various times while raising her children, she taught departmentalized upper grades, piano and organ lessons, in-home preschool/daycare, and served as a substitute teacher. After her children were in school, she returned to full time work at Pilgrim, teaching Kindergarten. After moving back to the midwest in 2007, Mrs. Baehman served as the three year old teacher and Assistant Director at St. Paul's Lutheran Child Center in Winneconne, before being called to serve at Trinity in 2015.

Mrs. Baehman is married to Tom, and together they have four sons: Andy and Jacob, living back in the Southwest, and Matthew and Stephen, who are college students. Her favorite activities are watching sports (especially when her sons are playing!), baking, music, watching movies, and spending time with her family.

One of Mrs. Baehman's favorite Bible passages is Jeremiah 29:11, "‘For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’"

Carolyn VonDeylen - 4K Preschool Teacher / Extended Learning

Mrs. Carolyn VonDeylen was born in Milwaukee, WI. She graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN in 1985 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She is happily married with three adult children, a son-in-law, daughter-in-law and four grandchildren.

Mrs. VonDeylen's first teacher placement was to Immanuel, Manitowoc. She met her husband while at this school and in 1989 took a break from teaching to stay at home with her growing family while running an in-home childcare. Her family moved to Neenah in 1993. In 2000, she was called to teach preschool at Trinity in Neenah. Over the years her position has changed from a 3-day preschool program to what we offer today. She spends her afternoons teaching extended learning and kindergarten social studies and science.

Mrs. VonDeylen loves to spend her free time taking long walks with her husband, getting together with her family and reading when she finds the time.

A favorite Bible verse is 2 Corinthians 5:15. "And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again."

Kari Oakland - 3K Preschool Teacher

Mrs. Kari Oakland was born in Fond du Lac, WI. She graduated in 2000 from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. In 2001, Mrs. Oakland married Pastor Jason Oakland. They are blessed with one daughter, Elizabeth.

Mrs. Oakland previously taught 2nd grade at Trinity in Brillion, WI and 6th grade at Calvary in Thiensville, WI.

Her personal interests include gardening and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Oakland's favorite Bible passage is Revelation 2:10, "Be faithful even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life."
